Would you like to hone your own artisanal skills at a famous piano manufacturer in Italy? Perhaps you are a world-renowned shoemaker from Japan, interested in coming to Freiburg? The scholarship for young professionals can help you achieve your goals. You will gain exciting insight into the working methods, operational structures, and management concepts of related fields in other countries, while developing your skills in your chosen profession.
You must fulfil the following requirements:
You can only apply if you live or work in Baden-Württemberg, or if you are working abroad and would like to complete an internship or continued training programme in Baden-Württemberg. You will need to submit a CV, cover letter, transcripts, verification from the internship provider or continued training institution, and, if necessary, references from employers and a certificate of language proficiency with your application.
Deadlines
Applications can be submitted at any time during the year. There are three submission deadlines, each four weeks before a meeting of the scholarship commission. Commission meetings will be held on the following dates in 2024:
